Kensington Palace and surrounding area!
If you know it will be a busy day best to plan ahead and load up on protein! After all, as your mother told you, Breakfast most important meal of day. And hard to beat an English breakfast...
And off we go to the Victoria and Albert Museum. So many collections of all shapes and sizes hard to choose but didn't have a week to spare to see everything! No matter where look beautiful and interesting displays....
Then quick bus ride, walk through Park and Voila a Palace is in front of you! Friends Val and Linda joined us again so they could clarify any "British" questions! Kinda crazy eclectic exhibit on comparing 18th Century Dress to modern dress!?! And of course so interesting seeing where Victoria grew up and learning more about her and reign.
And of course had to visit sunken Gardens and Diana statue. Kensington Palace was where Lady Diana's lived...
Then off to Harrods to see how other half live...
As our legs definitely feeling the 7 miles of walking we had done we had dinner at local pub, The Grenadier, and got taxi back to flat so could put feet up! Fish and chips and Salmon salad hit the spot and a cold Strawberry and Apple cider was easy to wash down!
Tomorrow is "moving" day as pack up London flat and head toward Oxford and Cotswolds for a long weekend.
Enjoying the trip right along with you!!!!
